Softball Game Preview: Monroe Central Golden Bears vs. Randolph Southern Rebels

Monroe Central is on an 11-game streak of home losses, and Randolph Southern a 15-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Monroe Central Golden Bears will be playing at home against the Randolph Southern Rebels at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monroe Central came up short against Alexandria-Monroe on Monday, falling 14-3.

Jayme Brannon was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Laura Walker was another key player, earning one run and two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Randolph Southern fell victim to Union City and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 12-0 to the Indians.

Randolph Southern's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Monroe Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-19.
