Baseball Recap: South Davidson Comes Up Short

South Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 20-0 to the East Davidson Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

South Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for East Davidson, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Golden Eagles beat South Davidson by a score of 22-3 later that day.
