Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends South Central's Winning Streak

South Central suffered their biggest loss since September 25th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Colonel Crawford Eagles. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

While South Central was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Colonel Crawford's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-22.

Despite the loss, South Central had strong showings from Keragin Gray, who had 32 assists and four digs, and Isabella Kimberlin, who had 11 digs. Gray is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 28 games she's played dating back to last season.

Colonel Crawford can attribute much of their success to Ella Agee, who had 13 assists and four digs.

South Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Colonel Crawford, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

South Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colonel Crawford, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against New Bremen on the 23rd.
