It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jones had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with an 18-7 win over the Naples Golden Eagles. The victory was just business as usual for the Fightin' Tigers, who after 14 games remain undefeated this season.

Dereon Coleman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 67 yards on only five carries, while also throwing for 113 yards on seven of 11 attempts. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jones was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 251 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 161 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.

Jones' win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.9 points per game. As for Naples, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-3 record.

Jones will face off against American Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. Jones' defense has only allowed 10.8 points per game this season, so American Heritage's offense will have their work cut out for them. Naples does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
