Preview: Rogers vs. Shadle Park
On Friday Shadle Park will take on Rogers at 5:00 PM. Shadle Park don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Shadle Park had a rough outing against University two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Shadle Park took the matchup and then some with a 44-7 win over North Central last Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Shadle Park as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, the match between Rogers and Mt. Spokane was not a total blowout, but with Rogers falling 16-33, it was darn close.
Shadle Park's win lifted them to 2-5 while Rogers's defeat dropped them down to 0-9. We'll see if Shadle Park's success rolls on or if Rogers are able to steal their positive momentum.
