Basketball Recap: Hilton Head Prep Now 12-2 over Last 14 Games

Colleton Prep Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Hilton Head Prep proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks by a score of 50-38. The win was nothing new for the Dolphins as they're now sitting on three straight.

Hilton Head Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Courtney Campbell, who almost dropped a triple-double on 17 points, nine boards, and 11 assists. The matchup was Campbell's 22nd in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Heins, who went 6 for 14 en route to 14 points and four steals.

Hilton Head Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.

Hilton Head Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.1 points per game. As for Colleton Prep Academy, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 17-7.
