Football Game Preview: El Cajon Valley Braves vs. Grossmont Foothillers + Official Tickets

The El Cajon Valley Braves will take on the Grossmont Foothillers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: El Cajon Valley has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Grossmont will arrive with five straight victories.

El Cajon Valley's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Valhalla on Friday. They had to suffer through a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Norsemen.

El Cajon Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Rashaunn Barr and Vave Mossman.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grossmont). Everything went their way against West Hills on Friday as they made off with a 48-27 win. Considering the Foothillers have won six games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Grossmont's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for El Cajon Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
