After losing to Blue Hills RVT the last time they met, Bristol-Plymouth RVT decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Craftsmen narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Warriors 5-4.

The team relied heavily on Jayden Cruz, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jake Dunn, who earned one run and three stolen bases.

Bristol-Plymouth RVT has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Blue Hills RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4-1.

Looking ahead, Bristol-Plymouth RVT will challenge Tri-County RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Craftsmen 3.6, the Cougars 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Blue Hills RVT, they will face off against Hull at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
