After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Columbus North, Terre Haute North Vigo was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Covington Trojans a 9-0 shutout. Considering Terre Haute North Vigo have won six contests by more than three goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Terre Haute North Vigo now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Covington, they dropped their record down to 3-6-2 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terre Haute North Vigo will welcome Mooresville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Covington, they will host Lafayette Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
