Baseball Recap: Mooreland Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fargo/Gage last Friday, Mooreland came back down to earth. Mooreland took a 15-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seiling Wildcats on Saturday. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Mooreland dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Seiling, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Mooreland Bearcats duke it out with Arnett Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Arnett has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.86 runs per game on average), something Mooreland will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Seiling, they will challenge Laverne at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
