Chambersburg took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Altoona, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Chambersburg skirted past Altoona 3-2. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Chambersburg's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2. As for Altoona, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chambersburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Central Dauphin East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Altoona will face off against rival State College at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
