Basketball Game Preview: Boonville Pirates vs. Battle Spartans

The Boonville Pirates will face off against the Battle Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Boonville ended up a good deal behind Smith-Cotton and lost 62-44.

Meanwhile, Battle was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 50-46 to Helias. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Battle has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season. As for Boonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
