Basketball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West managed to keep up with Wiseburn- Da Vinci until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The West Warriors lost 63-41 to the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 366th, while the Wolves are ranked 132nd).

West's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

West has already played their next match (against Ocean View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wiseburn- Da Vinci has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Mira Costa.
