Volleyball Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

Georgetown lost against Newburyport back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Royals lost 3-0 to the Clippers. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Newburyport, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Georgetown will square off against rival Hamilton-Wenham Regional at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Newburyport is set to challenge their familiar foe Pentucket Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
