Basketball Recap: Seminole Takes a Loss

Seminole was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by the Ada Cougars 68-27. The Chieftains were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-11.

Leading Ada to victory were Sania Richardson and Ava Campos. Richardson went 8-for-16 to rack up 22 points in addition to six boards and five assists, while Campos dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Campos now owns an excellent 45.4% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennadee Bickerstaff, who posted eight points.

Seminole's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Ada, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

As of now, neither Seminole nor Ada have any future games scheduled.
