Fredonia waltzed into their game on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Allegany-Limestone Gators a 9-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Hillbillies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Danielle Palisin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024.
