Softball Recap: Palm Desert Comes Up Short

Palm Desert lost against La Quinta back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Aztecs came up short against the Blackhawks, falling 18-4.

Palm Desert saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaliyah Tapia, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Logan Fimbres was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Palm Desert's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-9. As for La Quinta, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Palm Desert is set to challenge their familiar foe Rancho Mirage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, La Quinta will take on rival Palm Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
