Football Recap: Maine Central Institute Takes a Loss

Maine Central Institute lost against Old Town back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huskies had to suffer through a 59-27 loss at the hands of the Coyotes. The Huskies' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Maine Central Institute's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Old Town, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maine Central Institute will face off against Belfast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Old Town, they will square off against Hampden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Coyotes will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
