As for Ankeny, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cedar Falls Tigers take on the Western Dubuque Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Cedar Falls is facing Western Dubuque at the right time seeing as Western Dubuque is stuck on a six-game losing streak. After both having extra time off, Ankeny and Northwest will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:45 p.m. on January 1, 2025.
