Basketball Recap: Adams Central Comes Up Short

Adams Central was the 50-35 winner over Jay County when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Adams Central Flying Jets fell 62-49 to the Jay County Patriots on Saturday.

Adams Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Jay County, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

The future could be bright for both Adams Central and Jay County: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Adams Central will try to hand Southern Wells their eighth-straight loss when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Jay County will look to extend South Adams' three-game losing streak when the meet at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
