Softball Recap: St. James Tigers vs. Crocker Lions        
        
		
             St. James hadn't done well against Crocker recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Thursday. The St. James Tigers put the hurt on the Crocker Lions with a sharp  24-12 victory. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the   8-2 loss the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in October of 2023.
  Adalee Richardson was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in five of her six plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Elisa Bierman, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her six plate appearances.
 The  win made it two in a row for St. James and  bumps their season record up to 6-19. As for Crocker, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record  this season.
 St. James will face off against Dixon at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Crocker, they will take on Hartville at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Hartville is coming into the  match with three straight  victories at home,  so Crocker will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum.
