Baseball Recap: Central Lafourche Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Central Lafourche and South Lafourche, and South Lafourche kept the tradition alive. The Trojans lost 12-2 to the Tarpons on Saturday. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tarpons earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

Central Lafourche saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alton Bergeron, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Central Lafourche's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for South Lafourche, their record is now 3-4.

While Central Lafourche had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
