Basketball Game Preview: Monclova Christian Academy Thunder vs. Central Christian Academy Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Monclova Christian Academy Thunder will jump right back in to play the Central Christian Academy Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Monclova Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Monclova Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took down Wickenburg Christian Academy 75-56. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Thunder's disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 345th in Ohio, while the Lion are ranked 113th in Arizona).

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles back in January. Central Christian Academy took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bible Baptist Christian.

Monclova Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Central Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
