Softball Recap: Lynbrook Victorious

Lynbrook's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Valley Stream North Spartans 13-12. The win continues a trend for the Owls in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.

Lynbrook got a massive performance out of Bianca Lobosco, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits Lobosco has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kamila DeJesus, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Lynbrook was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Lynbrook's victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Lynbrook wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-7 win against Wheatley on the 2nd. As for Valley Stream North, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Owls at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th.
