Volleyball Recap: Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Takes a Loss

The Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Archers lost 3-0 to the Westlake Academy Blacksmiths on Friday. The Archers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-8.

Zoe Armstrong paced Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' offense, picking up nine kills. Armstrong got some help from Claire Samples and her ten assists. Gabby Lumby controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' defeat dropped their record down to 19-9-1. As for Westlake Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics will challenge Dallas HSAA at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westlake Academy, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against North Central Texas Academy on the 10th.
