Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Barron). They walked away with a 95-83 win over the Spooner Rails on Friday. Given the Golden Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Rails are ranked 408th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Barron has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points per game. As for Spooner, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Barron didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-51 loss against Cumberland on the 4th. As for Spooner, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 110-75 defeat against Somerset on the 3rd.
