Basketball Recap: Lexington Wildcats vs. Chapin Eagles

Lexington won the last time they faced Chapin, and Izzy Saville did her part to make sure it happened again. The Lexington Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Chapin Eagles 68-37 thanks in part to Saville, who went 8 of 15 en route to 20 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Sydni Anderson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season. What's more, she also racked up two assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reagan Haggard, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sami Stephenson, who posted six points.
