Basketball Recap: Creekview Comes Up Short

After flying high against Turner last Friday, Creekview came back down to earth. The Creekview Mustangs fell just short of the Wakeland Wolverines by a score of 61-58 on Tuesday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Creekview's defeat dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Wakeland, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-10.

When Creekview and Wakeland next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Creekview will challenge The Colony and their five-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Wakeland will try to stop Lone Star's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
