Habersham Central is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Loganville two weeks ago. Habersham Central took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 56-21 win over Loganville. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Raiders just coasted through the last quarter.

Habersham Central can attribute much of their success to Paris Wilbanks, who threw for 229 yards and four touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and Donnie Warren, who gained 232 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Warren a new career-high in rushing yards. Zeke Whittington was in the mix as well, providing Habersham Central with two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Winder-Barrow last Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Alcovy out of the water with a 42-7 final score. Given the Bulldoggs' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Tigers are ranked 308th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Winder-Barrow to victory, but perhaps none more so than Demetrius "Mj" Dowdy, who rushed for 201 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Dowdy showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 51 yards. London Munoz also helped out as he racked up 135 receiving yards.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Winder-Barrow was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 260 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alcovy only rushed for 48.
