Softball Recap: Florence Takes a Loss

Florence's last matchup with Puckett could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Wolves, falling 12-2. The Eagles have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Florence saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brylee Brown, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Brown has brought in this season.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Puckett, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Florence will square off against Clinton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Puckett, they will take on Morton at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
