Volleyball Game Preview: Ada Bulldogs vs. Arcadia Redskins

The Ada Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Arcadia Redskins at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ada will be strutting in after a victory while Arcadia will be coming in after a defeat.

Ada had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Riverdale on Monday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. The Bulldogs not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 8th (when they won 3-0).

Ada not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Riverdale between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Arcadia's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Van Buren.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-11.

Arcadia's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Ada, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Ada beat Arcadia 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
