Baseball Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short

Anderson fell victim to Turpin and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-0. The Raptors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Connor Fecher was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

Anderson now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Turpin, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anderson will welcome Simon Kenton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Turpin, they will be playing at home against Little Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
