Kennedy Edwards Game Report: vs Effingham County

For the first time in her career, Kennedy Edwards scored a receiving touchdown on Thursday. She picked up 55 receiving yards and one TD, but sadly Woodville-Tompkins still had to take a 8-6 loss at the hands of Effingham County. Edwards' big game is all the more special as we consider it to be the best performance she's ever had.

Coming up, Edwards and Woodville-Tompkins will welcome Savannah Country Day at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Edwards' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Wolverines' four-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Edwards and the Wolverines surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Tuesday's match.
