Volleyball Recap: Lamar Comes Up Short

Lamar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Vista Ridge Rangers. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Rangers when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Vista Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Lamar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Cleburne on the 23rd. As for Vista Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Waxahachie on the 23rd.
