Baseball Recap: Rehoboth Christian Has No Trouble Against Laguna Acoma

Rehoboth Christian came out on top against Laguna Acoma on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Lynx put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 14-3 win. Considering the Lynx have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Trajen West made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. West was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since April 1st.

In other batting news, Kodah Chapman was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Rehoboth Christian: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-10 otherwise. Mason Johnson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Rehoboth Christian's record is now 8-10. As for Laguna Acoma, they moved to 12-8 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Rehoboth Christian beat the Hawks by a score of 17-4 later that day.
