Baseball Game Preview: Attleboro Bombardiers vs. Taunton Tigers

Attleboro is 1-9 against Taunton since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Attleboro will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Taunton at 3:45 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Monday, Attleboro made easy work of Canton and carried off a 13-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bombardiers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Tyler Dunlea tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kelan Jones, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Michael Huntington was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Taunton owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. Everything went their way against Foxborough as Taunton made off with a 6-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Caden Lindskog was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Taunton's record now sits at 2-0. As for Attleboro, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
