Basketball Recap: Mandaree Takes a Loss

Mandaree was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the McLaughlin Mustangs and fell 55-15. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Mandaree's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for McLaughlin, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mandaree and Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] will round out the year against one another at at 12:45 p.m. on Monday. Mandaree is facing Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] at the right time seeing as Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for McLaughlin, they will challenge Dupree at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
