Southlands Christian entered their tilt with Legacy College Prep on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Lions 11-0. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Charlie Burgess was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Jason Bernal was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Southlands Christian pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games.
