There's no place like home for Ignacio, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Trinidad Miners on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Stoney W was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Ignacio is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise. W was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gabe A, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was William M, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Ignacio always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Ignacio has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Trinidad, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ignacio beat the Miners by a score of 14-4 later that day.
