Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Loyola). They put the hurt on the Lake City Tigers with a sharp 9-1 victory on Saturday. The Crusaders not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9, 2024 (when they won 21-0).

The win made it two in a row for Loyola and bumps their season record up to 7-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Lake City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Loyola nor Lake City have any future games scheduled.
