Volleyball Recap: West Carroll Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Carroll lost against Stockton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Thunder took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blackhawks. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-14.

West Carroll's offense was headlined by Avery Mangler and Claire Handel, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Audri Wilcox and her six assists. Finally, Laikyn Lawrence kept West Carroll's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Stockton found their leader in sophomore Natalee Sullivan, who had nine digs and three aces. Sullivan has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

West Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 9-22. As for Stockton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 29-5.

West Carroll has already played their next contest (against Galena), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Stockton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Warren on the 27th.
