Baseball Preview: Sweeny Bulldogs vs. Wimberley Texans

Meanwhile, while Wimberley put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Pleasanton. The Texans walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Eagles.

He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over 5.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.
