Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Martin). They never let the Lamar Vikings get on the board and left with a 25-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory got Martin back to even at 8-8-1. As for Lamar, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Martin will face off against rival Grand Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lamar is set to challenge their familiar foe Haltom at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
