Baseball Recap: Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against Sabino

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Sabino Sabercats. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their two-run performance the match before.

John Sunukjian was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. He is becoming a predictor of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least eight strikeouts the team is 3-1 (and 9-10 when he doesn't). Sunukjian was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one RBI.
