Meanwhile, Ottawa-Glandorf fell victim to Liberty-Benton and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Eagles. Ottawa-Glandorf haven't had much luck with Liberty-Benton recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Shawnee's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-2. As for Ottawa-Glandorf, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12-2.

Shawnee took their win against Ottawa-Glandorf in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
