Volleyball Recap: Warner Robins Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Warner Robins can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Northside Eagles by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Demons: when they faced off against the Eagles on September 4th, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Warner Robins easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18.

Khamari Lowe paced Warner Robins' offense, picking up seven kills. Lowe got some help from Ava Sexton and her 14 assists. Sexton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Warner Robins' win bumped their record up to 6-17. As for Northside, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warner Robins will host New Hampstead at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Demons are facing the Phoenix at the right time seeing as the Phoenix are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Northside, they will welcome Lee County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
