Estero had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured an 18-12 W against the Riverdale Raiders. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly six points.

Estero's defense made their presence known, laying out Zoey O'Nan. three times. Taylin Beckman was especially locked on to Riverdale's QB and sacked her twice. MacKenzie Okseniuk got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Estero pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Riverdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Estero does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverdale, they will take on East Lee County at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. The Raiders are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
