Bloomfield entered their tilt with Red Jacket on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on Red Jacket with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Bombers have won four matches by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Bloomfield pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Red Jacket, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bloomfield will take on rival Honeoye at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bombers 4, the Bulldogs 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
