After a string of 16 wins, Poynette's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 57-43 to the Westfield Area Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pumas of the 66-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2021.

Poynette's loss dropped their record down to 23-3. As for Westfield Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Poynette nor Westfield Area have any future games scheduled.
