There's no place like home for Ritchie County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Braxton County Eagles on Thursday. The Rebels not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 28, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9, 25-16.

Ritchie County's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Braxton County, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ritchie County will welcome Calhoun at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Braxton County, they will face off against Richwood at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
